The HyreKit admin is now multilingual. It follows your Shopify admin language automatically, with English as the default.

• Portuguese (Brazil) and Spanish across the whole admin: dashboard, bookings, products, units, maintenance, deposits, pickup, emails, calendar, import and Companion pairing.
• The storefront booking widget, customer emails and the online cancellation page already speak 10 languages, so the full customer journey was covered before the admin caught up.

• The admin booking calendar showed a few labels in Estonian regardless of language.
• The subscribed calendar feed (Google, Outlook, Apple) wrote event details in Estonian for every shop. Event summaries are now in your language.

Track every physical unit, not just the product. Hand out and take back rentals by scanning a code with the free Android Companion app.

• Each machine is now its own unit, with a serial or QR code, service log and engine hours.
• A booking records which unit went out, so rental counts and service intervals are per machine.
• Availability counts free units, so a machine under repair drops out automatically.
• Bulk setup: paste a list of serials and create all your units at once.

• Scan a code to hand out a rental: the app finds the booking, you confirm, and the unit is on its way.
• Scan again on return: engine hours are added to the machine and a condition note can be left.
• Works offline in the yard — confirmations sync when the signal comes back.
• Pair a phone with a one-time code from your admin. Revoke any device from the same page.
• Label your gear the easy way: stick any barcode on a machine and scan it into the app. No printer setup needed. Or export a CSV for a label printer, or print a QR sheet.

Existing shops keep working exactly as before. Units are optional — add them when you are ready.

• Customer account block: customers see their booking and can cancel it right in their Shopify account — in their own language.
• Rental guard: a checkout rule that blocks rental products from being ordered without rental dates. Closes the "Buy again" and direct add-to-cart side doors. Enable once under Settings → Checkout → Checkout rules.
• Rental product marker and an automatic Rentals smart collection that always mirrors your configured rental products. Rename it freely; deleting it is respected.
• The booking calendar block now renders only on configured rental products — add it to your product template once.

• Refund watch: when a customer cancels a paid booking, HyreKit now verifies that the gateway refund actually completed and retries automatically if it didn't — and emails you if manual attention is ever needed.
• Background reliability: bookings, emails and refunds keep running no matter how long the admin stays closed.

• Free cancellation window per product and a secure self-service cancellation page, linked from the booking confirmation email — in all ten calendar languages.
• Cancelled bookings free their dates instantly and refund to the original payment method.

• Finnish is now the tenth calendar language, joining English, Estonian, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.

• Multi-day hires are priced correctly in the cart again: the price always reflects the full number of rental days. Found by an early tester, fixed and shipped the same day.

• Calendar feed (iCal) event titles now show the customer name and order number, so a glance at your phone calendar tells you who is coming and for what.

• Standing customer discounts: give a customer a personal percentage and it applies automatically to their whole cart at checkout and in draft orders. Ideal for loyal renters, staff and partners.

• Long-hire discount, rebuilt on Shopify's native discount system so it works on every Shopify plan: set a percentage and a minimum hire length per product, and qualifying bookings get an automatic discount at checkout.

• Customer lifecycle emails: booking confirmation, a return-day reminder and a late-return notice — each sent automatically, once per booking.

Refundable deposits are now exact and never skipped.

• Deposits charge the exact amount you set, instead of defaulting to zero.
• The deposit product publishes to your storefront automatically, so a deposit is never missed at checkout.

• Bookings now use your store's own timezone instead of a fixed one.

• Import in-progress bookings from a CSV when moving from another rental app — no reserved dates are lost.
• Manual booking payment link: create a booking in admin and email the customer a Shopify invoice to pay.

• The date picker now lazy-loads, keeping product pages fast.

• Date picker reduced to under 10 KB gzipped for faster product pages.

• Manual bookings available on the Standard plan.
• Product limits applied consistently across plans.
